FAQ
Do you take lane reservations?
Unlike many bowling alleys, especially those in metro areas, we do not take lane reservations for open play. This can create a small wait during busy hours, but it also lets you finish as many complete games as you'd like.

Do I pay before or after bowling?
You have the option of paying for your bowling before or after you are done bowling. If you know how many games you want to bowl then it is easier to pay ahead of time. But if you aren't sure how many games you want then paying after is the way to go. We require that you leave with us a valid form of ID or a credit/debit card as collateral if you choose to pay when you are done.

Why do I have to rent shoes?
The reason you have to rent or bring your own bowling shoes is twofold. First of all for your safety. Wearing street shoes or socks can cause you to trip and end up face first on the lane. This can be both painful and embarrassing. Second, street shoes can leave dirt and scuff marks behind degrading the quality of our fine approaches.

Why is the Jukebox off?
The jukebox is off during all of our leagues in order to allow league bowlers to bowl with little disraction and enjoy the spirit of the competition. If there is no league going on and the jukebox is still off let one of the staff know and they will gladly turn it on.

Can I buy one of the house balls?
The answer to this one is usually no. Primarily because the ball that you call your favorite is most likely the favorite of another bowler. Another reason we don't sell house balls is the fact that they are fairly standard across the industry. The staff in our house or other houses wouldn't know the ball belonged to you.

Why don't you have hard alcohol?
We try to meet a balance between catering to the college crowd while still remaining family friendly. Additionally, the space in our service area is quite limited at the time and a little full. Though we don't have hard alcohol we do have a fine selection of beers, wines and ciders.

Why are you not ADA accessible?
We would like to be, but given that our building was built in the 1920's it would take a significant amount of remodeling to become ADA compliant. However our staff is very willing to help accomadte anyone as best we can.

What's downstairs?
Back in the heydey of bowling, the downstairs housed our pro shop, a bar, and a daycare. Today the downstairs has our coolers, the pro shop, and a bunch of lockers for bowlers to store their gear. There are some that believe the basement is haunted, but by whom is beyond us

How does the scoring work?
This comes up a lot and is simple to understand once explained. If you roll a strike you get 10 pins plus the next two rolls are added to that frame. So if you get a strike in the first frame and a 6 followed by a 2 in the second frame the first frame is worth 18 (10+6+2). For a spare you get 10 pins plus your next roll. If you score a spare or strike in the tenth you get one or two more rolls respectively for a total of three. Red numbers on the scoreboard indicate you were left with a split.
